What's a Ben?

I am currently a junior at Community High School. At Community I take such classes as U.S. History, Chemistry, American Literature, Short Story Writing, and Calculus. I do a lot of work at CHS with our Internet based technology, including heading up the CHS Web Team. As far as I know, I will end up going to the University of Michigan in some sort of Computer Engineering field. Fun. And if I get real bored I'll make a résumé.

What does a Ben do?

Most of my extra time is spent in one way or another with the CHS Web, as I am the acting Webmaster.
I do a bit of coding on my PC at home. Currently I am developing an audio CD player and a program to play sound files.
When I don't feel that I'm doing enough at once, I also work as an editor for a friend's rather large story.
I've recently started developing BenMUD. BenMUD will be an interactive adventure game that is sure to destroy your concept of virtual reality. It is being writen using a mac port of LPmud.

Ben Stuff

For recreation I play tennis (JV). Since CHS doesn't have sports teams, I play tennis for Pioneer HS durring the season. I was undefeated last season, if you care to know. I put a great deal of time into a band, too. The band is called Foot Carcass, and plays, well, anything. It's hard to classify the Carcass sound.
